Something Is Off

You are on the beach. The sun is high up. The sound of the waves is your soundtrack. Suddenly you notice a huge column of smoke on the horizon. Something is off. What is it? What does it mean? What is this old men saying again through his megaphone? Why does this teddy bear keep staring at me?

This photo project, shot on 35mm film in Gran Canaria, is dedicated to the chasing of the odd in the ordinary and capturing the glimpses of surrealism in the daily life of the island.
